The Element Compact Glucose Monitor requires a small blood sample of 0.5 ml and uses a color code calibration system to increase accuracy. The monitor allows for alternate site testing including the thigh, forearm, calf, fingertip, upper arm, palm and dorsal hand. Users can export their test results to their home PC's and the meter will work with the Eocene Remote Health Patient Monitoring System by Infopia.
